This note came to me from a dear friend, Manny Hernandez. He is the force behind so much good for people living with Diabetes. Please give it a read, and consider giving to such an important resource. Happy Holidays!
"In 2010, we are planning more things to continue connecting people touched by diabetes and raising diabetes awareness for the benefit of the diabetic community. So I want to ask you to look back at what TuDiabetes or EsTuDiabetes have done for you in 2009, how they have helped you and, if you can afford it, to make a tax-deductible donation to support our work, so we can do more for you in 2010:
Wondering how your donation would be used? For every dollar you donate to the Diabetes Hands Foundation, nearly 50 cents are used to run TuDiabetes.org and EsTuDiabetes.org and 25 cents go to fund our diabetes awareness programs. The remainder is split between administrative expenses and fundraising almost equally.
To donate, visit the home page of TuDiabetes and select your donation amount on the "Help TuDiabetes" box in the top left or simply visit this page:
and enter your preferred donation amount.
We count on your generous donation as the year ends and wish you and your loved ones a happy holiday and a healthy 2010!"
